- Explore the Black Heritage Trail starting at the Shaw 54th Regiment Memorial
- Join us for our Summer Celebration on Brewer Plaza on July 10 at 12:00 PM
- Check out Emerson College’s UnCommon Corner and the Harpoon Beer Garden, with free performances daily
- Bring a lawn chair and watch Free Shakespeare on the Common “As You Like It”, performances from July 13 – August 10
- Join us for our Backyard Bash on August 7 at Parkman Bandstand
- Dance the afternoon away at the Tito Puente Latin Music Series on August 14
- Enjoy an outdoor viewing of Wicked on August 29

- The Boston Common Visitor Center also offers wonderful resources, maps, and guides for those visiting the #threeparks. Public restrooms are available at the Visitor Center and our Restroom Trailer located near the Charles Street mid-block crossing on Boston Common
PUBLIC GARDEN
- Take a free walking tour (Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10 AM & 4 PM)
- Explore the nations first public botanical garden
- Ride a Swan Boat (fee charged)
- Immerse yourself in the beauty of the four historic rose beds (one set near the Charles Street mid-block entrance, adjacent to the Edward Everett Hale statue, one set near the Arlington Street mid-block entrance, adjacent to the George Washington statue
- Take a trip through medical history at the Ether Monument
- Enjoy the peaceful beauty of “The Angel” at the George Robert White Memorial site.
COMMONWEALTH AVENUE MALL
- Hear the statues at the Boston Women’s Memorial speak
- Explore the Women’s Heritage Trail
- See historic homes and some of Boston’s most beautiful real estate as you walk the entire stretch of the Mall from Arlington to Kenmore.
