Brewer Fountain Plaza in the Boston Common, located near Park Street Station, is a vibrant and welcoming outdoor community space programmed by the Friends of the Public Garden. During the high season, Plaza visitors can enjoy food trucks, programming, and live music.

WATERCOLOR WORKSHOPS

Come paint with Friends! Join us for FREE watercolor workshops all summer long, every Tuesday and Thursday from 1—4 PM at Brewer Fountain Plaza. Capacity may be limited—RSVP in advance to secure your spot!

You’ll see our instructor sitting on the white and green striped blankets on the lawn behind the colorful tables and chairs. Don’t miss an opportunity to get creative in America’s first public park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the city, the perfect vibe for some artistic inspiration.

PLAYTIME WITH KNUCKLEBONES

Fun for the whole family. Join Knucklebones every Tuesday from 1—3 PM as they turn the lawns into a fun-filled play area—an excellent daytime activity for children and their families.

There are plenty of ways for all of Boston to get to Brewer Plaza!
Via car: Park Street Station, 165 Tremont Street, Boston, MA on GPS. Paid parking is available in the Boston Common Garage or Transportation Building garages; on-street parking is free on Sundays.

Via subway: Take the Red or Green Line to Park Street, Green Line to Boylston, or Orange Line to Downtown Crossing (requires short walk)

Via MBTA Bus: Take any of the following bus routes: #11, #43, #501, and #504. For any of these bus routes, stop close to the Common. Stops may require a short walk. Check your MBTA app for exact proximity.
