Your downtown public parks are the place to be with free and low cost activities for everyone. The three parks are open every day 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. All are welcome!

- Cool off in the Summer Spray Pool at the Frog Pond
- Visit the Tadpole Playground next to the Frog Pond
- Enjoy a snack or listen to a lunchtime concert on Brewer Plaza
- Visit The Embrace
- Take a free Yoga Class
- Find all 9 cows part of the Cow Parade
- Check out Emerson College’s UnCommon Stage and the Trillium Beer Garden
- Ride the Frog Pond Carousel (fee charged)
- Explore the Black Heritage Trail starting at the Shaw 54th Regiment Memorial
- Join the Boston Red Sox for Out of the Park on July 16
- Bring a lawn chair and watch Free Shakespeare on the Common “Macbeth”, performances from July 16 – August 6
- Dance the afternoon away at the Tito Puente Latin Music Series on August 10
- Enjoy an outdoor viewing of Super Mario Bros: The Movie on September 1
- The Boston Common Visitor Center also offers wonderful resources, maps, and guides for those visiting the #threeparks. Public restrooms are available at the Visitor Center and our Restroom Trailer located near the Charles Gate mid-block crossing on Boston Common.

- Take a free walking tour (Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m.)
- Let your creativity flow with watercolor painting in the Garden
- Ride a Swan Boat (fee charged)
- Explore the statues on every block
- Embrace the shade from Arlington Street to Kenmore Square
