On June 25, 2025, It was a night of laughter, camaraderie, and a shared passion for preserving our precious parks. More than 150 enthusiastic supporters gathered in the Garden at Kings Chapel Parish for A Summer Party, the annual fundraiser in support of Boston’s cherished downtown parks – the Boston Common, Public Garden, and Commonwealth Avenue Mall.
Guests enjoyed signature cocktails, a fabulous silent auction, a wine wall sponsored by DeLuca’s Marketplace, passed hors d’oeuvres, and live music courtesy of singer and longtime Young Friends supporter Lauren Schultes while mingling with fellow park lovers in a beautiful and festive garden courtyard atmosphere.
Attendees raised critical funds for the #threeparks while hearing organizational updates from Board Chair Leslie Singleton Adam and welcomed President Liza Meyer as she emphasized our commitment to renew, care, and advocate for these iconic downtown greenspaces.
