Please join us for our annual Members Reception, Thursday, November 2 at the Park Plaza Hotel.
Enjoy a presentation by Peter James, Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, who will discuss the epidemiology behind how exposure to nature influences health outcomes including mental health, cognitive function, cardiovascular disease, and mortality. He will also discuss future directions for nature and health research, including the use of smartphone apps, artificial intelligence, and Google Street View imagery. We may inherently appreciate that time in nature is good for us, but how do we truly understand how nature influences our health?
