53rd Annual Meeting

Thank you to our Members, community advocates, neighbors, and Friends who joined us for the 53rd Annual Meeting. Over 100+ attendees enjoyed remarks from Board Chair Leslie Singleton Adam, a presentation from President Liz Vizza, and an address from Reverend Mariama White Hammond, Chief of Environment, Energy, and Open Space for the City of Boston.
An advocate for our public greenspaces, Rev. White-Hammond has an extensive background in embedding equity and environmental justice into Boston’s communities. Rev. White-Hammond shared inspiring words about our shared commitment to building excellent public spaces, and encouraged attendees to think of all of Bostons parks as one large system, with equity access to greenspace a priority.
