The Friends recently penned a letter to Mayor Wu and City Officials imploring them to reconsider new development that will cast significant shadow on the Emerald Necklace, negatively impacting the Fenway section of the park system throughout the year.
The Friends also signed an open letter to elected and appointed individuals urging the incoming Healy-Driscoll administration to continue investing in Massachusetts parks and open spaces, with the goal to rebuild a state park system that better supports the needs of visitors and stakeholders.
