Backyard Bash on Boston Common

On September 15, the Friends hosted the first free Backyard Bash on Boston Common, part of the multi-day Fierce Urgency of Now (F.U.N.) Festival presented by City Awake and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
Approximately 100 people joined us near Parkman Bandstand for great music from the DJ, A Trike Called Funk. Attendees enjoyed Boston Ice Cream Truck sweet treats and AHA beverages, including a refreshing AHA “mocktail”. Guests played Knucklebones adult yard games of all sorts — volleyball, pickleball, the hoppy animals and Jenga were extremely popular!
