Boston Common Public Restrooms, near Charles St. mid-block crossing
This is a free event, open to the public
Thank you for joining us for our first in-person Conversations with Friends with President Liz Vizza and the artist Sobek in front of the restroom trailer on Boston Common along Charles Street. Stay tuned for a recording of the event.
In this Conversations with Friends, President Liz Vizza and artist Sobek come together to talk about the original mural that Sobek created. With his surrealist aerosol, Sobek has created a mural, titled “What’s Left Behind,” depicting the history of the Common, specifically for the seasonal restroom trailer along Charles Street.
Our parks are natural convenors, bringing together people from across the City and beyond. The Friends has always benefited from that spirit, as so many individuals and community partners come together to make our mission possible. This year, we intend to celebrate some of those special friends and share some of the conversations that enrich our work.
