On Wednesday, August 14, the Boston Parks Advocates welcomed the new Parks Commissioner, Ryan Woods with a special reception at the Parkman House. Over 40 park advocates gathered for a lively reception over wine and charcuterie, and networked with their fellow parks supporters.
Executive Director of the Friends and Steering Committee Member, Liz Vizza, welcomed the crowd and emphasized the importance of the cities work in our public greenspaces. Ryan Woods, Parks Commissioner, shared city park updates and future projects he will undertake as Commissioner.
